June 9, 2022The new EV Infrastructure grant is designed specifically to provide small to medium-sized businesses with cost savings towards the deployment of charging points and infrastructure across their sites.
With electric vehicle registrations rapidly rising every month and a nationwide sustainability agenda established, the UK government has introduced a new unique grant funding initiative for SMEs.
What you need to know
Each business can claim up to five grants, one per property location.
Each grant application can be up to a maximum of £15,000.
Businesses can claim up to £500 for the charging infrastructure per EV parking space.
Businesses can claim up to £350 towards the purchase and installation of a charging socket.
Need more chargers? Then the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) can be used to claim additional grants.
The funding covers charge point management, signage, software and civil groundworks.
If claiming under the EV Infrastructure grant they must be OZEV WSC approved.
